Sorry no show this week

February 26th, 2009

Hi everybody,

I am currently suffering from pneumonia and as a result have been bed ridden this week. So there will be no new ep this week as a result.

Although this does clearly indicate I need some help. Anybody interested in coming on board as an editor for the show ?

12 – Colonel Spitfire and the 7th Brigade Part 1

February 19th, 2009

This weeks installment of Sci Phi Journal is the first two part story and is written by Dr Chris Drohan. It is quite a weird story, but I also quite like it. I’d be interested to see what others think. Warning, there is a bit of reasonably graphic violence in this weeks story.

Please send feedback to editor@sciphijournal.com or post in the comments section or on the forum.

Colonel Spitfire and the 7th Brigade is available in a number of formats, so choose the one that works best for you. They are all licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommerical-NoDerivatives 3.0 License.

Questions for Reflection

  1. Is Colonel Spitfire insane ?
  2. Is it more frightening if he isn’t ?
  3. What do you think of Semiotics ?

In The Know: Are Reality Shows Setting Unrealistic Standards For Skanks?

A wonderful bit of humour from the ONN. Warning, there is a bit of swearing at the end.
