Submission Guidelines
Do you want to contribute to Sci Phi ?
Contributing is easy. Please contact editor@sciphijournal.com with your story idea or manuscript that you would like to submit for consideration.
What are we looking for ? The journal is after science fiction short stories with a philosophical idea explored in them, or articles on a philosophical idea illustrated through science fiction. If you are unsure whether your story is suitable ask yourself this question (Because I will ask you if I buy the story) “What sort of discussion ideas come out of the story I have written ?”
Ideally manuscripts should be submitted in either MS Word or Open Office document formats, and where possible use the style features in the programs rather than formating by hand. This isn’t a requirement but if we decide to buy the story it makes it much easier for us later.
Pay rate for stories is 10c per thousand words per issue sold. We currently pay on a royalty basis. We take short stories and articles. For longer works I am happy to serialise things over several issues.

I look forward to your contributions. Deadlines for each issue are 1 month before Issue publication date, and they come out each Quater.
